Many children depend on meals provided at school. Thus, during the summer these children no longer have that food source.
The Mount Dora Lions Club is having a food drive for Lake Cares Food Bank to collect non-perishable food for these children. Our goal for the month of April is 1,000 meals.
The Lions will be collecting food donations at Publix Loch Leven Landing, 18955 N. US Hwy 441 from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 1st. Click here for a list of food donations needed.
For further information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Join us on the fourth Tuesday of the month from 6 to 8 p.m. for an opportunity to meet your neighbors who are serving in your community.
We'll have a catered dinner; just bring a beverage to enjoy. RSVP for further details by emailing us at email@example.com
There’s no telling when or where a disaster might strike. But you can help make sure that Lions will always be there when they’re needed.
When natural disasters strike, Lions are among the first to offer help. With a disaster grant, they can do even more for communities devastated by hurricanes, floods, fires and other major events.
From July 2022 to August 2022, LCIF has awarded 60 disaster relief-related grants totaling US$1,274,272
